JIMO Executive Board of Directors

JIMO's Executive Board of Directors consists of both Scripps and NOAA leadership and is responsible for:

• making recommendations to the Vice Chancellor of Marine Sciences, UCSD for the Directorship of JIMO
• reviewing and approve the general policies, research themes, and priorities of JIMO
• conducting evaluations, at least biannually, of JIMO programs and activities, including the budget, with appropriate recommendations
• approving criteria for appointment of fellows, visiting scientists, institute scientists and postdoctoral fellows; and
• recommending such further implementing agreements as may be entered into pursuant to provisions provided in this MOU.
