JIMO Director's Advisory Council of Fellows

The Council is made up of 8 JIMO Fellows, including JIMO's Director, and will serve to advise the Director in the follow capacity:

Establishment of the broad scientific areas of JIMO
Promotion of cooperation between the sponsoring parties (Scripps and NOAA)
Maintenance of high scientific and professional standards
Appointment and renewal of fellows, visiting scientists, institute scientists and postdoctoral fellows
Preparation of the annual report of JIMO activities
